These wines reflect their origins and the impact of California's coastal climate, particularly in Santa Barbara where wine grapes are ideally influenced throughout the growing season by the unique climes created by the Pacific Ocean. The ocean themes of the labels reference the focus of Deep Sea wines, showcasing their origin of close proximity to the ocean, and impact of natural cooling on Santa Barbara vineyards.
Our Deep Sea wines are sourced from select and notable Santa Barbara vineyards and Central Coast vineyards that share the complexities associated with California’s maritime-influenced appellations. Vineyards include those founds in the following AVA's:
- Central Coast AVA: California’s second largest AVA
- Monterey County: Including 9 AVAs, exhibiting exemplary conditions for high quality, cool-climate viticulture
- Santa Barbara AVA’s: Including Santa Maria Valley and Santa Rita HIlls
- Los Carneros AVA: Cool-climate varietals develop a crisp acidity and moderate sugar levels
This limited production Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks. Sourced from the Portico Hills Vineyard in Los Alamos, this refreshing white displays aromas of Lemon, Lime, and fresh cut Hay. Fresh fruit flavors of Pineapple, Lemon, and Mandarin Orange make this wine perfect for sipping in the sunshine, or pairing with light cheeses, oysters, chilled crab claws, or spicy Thai dishes.
2021 Riesling, Santa Barbara County: This sweet Riesling offers fragrant aromas of Honeyed Pear, Apricot, and Sweet Lemonade. Fresh acidity balances ripe fruit flavors of Lychee, Nectarine and sun-kissed Peaches.
2022 Rosé of Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County: Watermelon pink with juicy fruit flavors, our 100% Pinot Noir rosé is a refreshing waterfall of White Cherries, Zesty Citrus, and Raspberry Sorbet. 2022 Beach Blanc: Perfect for sun-drenched beach days, this blend has a breezy citrus vibe, with tropical fruit flavors and crisp acidity. Pair with ocean views, drink with friends. 64% Viognier, 18% Sauvignon Blanc, 13% Malvasia Bianca, 5% Muscat Canelli.
Fruity and unique, this aromatic white blend delights the senses with notes of Candied Pear, Ripe Peach, and a hint of Orange Blossom Honey. Stainless Steel fermented to showcase the abundant Citrus, Guava and Tropical flavors. The blend is comprised of 76% Chenin Blanc, 19% Viognier, and 5% Muscat Canelli.
Our classic Santa Barbara Pinot Noir offers delicate fruit notes of crushed cherries and ripe strawberry. Aromas of toasted vanilla whisper from the glass, followed by pomegranate, cherry jam and a bright cranberry note on the finish. Our 2022 offers a unique and complex blend of fresh red fruit flavors, soft tannins and excellent structure.
