DEEP SEA Hand Crafted Wines are made from coastal vineyards to reflect the maritime influence of the Pacific Ocean, and are perfect for the modern wine drinker. These wines reflect their origins and the impact of California's coastal climate, particularly in Santa Barbara where wine grapes are ideally influenced throughout the growing season by the unique climes created by the Pacific Ocean. The ocean themes of the labels reference the focus of Deep Sea wines, showcasing their origin of close proximity to the ocean, and impact of natural cooling on Santa Barbara vineyards.
Our Deep Sea wines are sourced from select and notable Santa Barbara vineyards and Central Coast vineyards that share the complexities associated with California’s maritime-influenced appellations. Vineyards include those founds in the following AVA's:
- Central Coast AVA: California’s second largest AVA
- Monterey County: Including 9 AVAs, exhibiting exemplary conditions for high quality, cool-climate viticulture
- Santa Barbara AVA’s: Including Santa Maria Valley and Santa Rita HIlls
- Los Carneros AVA: Cool-climate varietals develop a crisp acidity and moderate sugar levels
