2021 Seaturtle Chardonnay

This Santa Barbara County Chardonnay is sourced from an acclaimed Los Alamos Vineyard site, Valley View Vineyard.  We have maintained our house-style with each vintage, preferring a lighter profile. It begins with an early harvest, stainless steel fermentation, and then the wine is transferred to a combination of new and neutral oak barrels for 4 months.  It undergoes 100% malo-lactic fermentation, but remains on the lighter end of the scale in terms of perceived oak. Elegant and refreshing, this modern style of Chardonnay offers a whisper of toasted oak along with vibrant notes of Citrus, Green Apple, and Stone Fruit.
